- Deposit: $750 (non-refundable, applied towards full price)
Meet & Greet Day
Our Cattery is part of our home. For the health and safety of all of our human and furbaby family members, we welcome you to meet the cats and kittens via video call. Approved adopters who have paid the deposit will be invited to a Meet & Greet day to come meet our family of humans, cats, and kittens. Attendance is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. The remaining balance will be collected and contracts signed that day, regardless of attendance.
At Hugh Jazzcat Cattery, we are dedicated to ethically raising healthy, well-socialized Maine Coon kittens. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for our feline companions. Please read the following information carefully before considering adoption.
We prioritize the health and well-being of our kittens
Beware of scammers!
Hugh Jazzcat will never ask you for money before your application has been approved. Nor will there be an exchange of money, if you have not met us, the kittens parents, AND the kitten, by video call (minimum)!
- Have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption
- Provide a safe, indoor-only environment
- Never declaw the kitten
- Ensure regular veterinary care and appropriate nutrition
- Notify us if you can no longer care for the kitten
We prioritize the health and well-being of our kittens:
- All kittens are vaccinated appropriate to their age
- Kittens are microchipped for identification
- Kittens are spayed/neutered prior to adoption
- We provide a health guarantee against congenital defects for the first year of the kitten's life
- DNA panel results, hip radiological studies, and echocardiograms of the parents are available upon request

We'll provide Regular Updates and Photos of your kitten as they grow

Adoption Process
Attend our "kitten meet & greet" day when kittens are about 10 weeks old.

The remaining balance is due on meet & greet day, regardless of attendance.

The adoption contract is signed on meet & greet day.

When your kitten is ready (typically at 14-16 weeks), we'll arrange the adoption day.
